Day 3-2 : 안녕하수꽈 제주도! Hello Jeju!

If you wanna visit Jeju Island but you go there by yourself. I recommend you to use airplane (is that obvious? lol) We bought ticket beforehand which is Jeju Air because that's the cheapest one. Haha
You can buy it via internet and pay it by credit card even you're a foreigner. They make it easier now, because once my friend wanna buy one via internet but she can't because she is foreigner. Thanks, now it's getting easier.
Anyway.. Let's go go!!!!
Hello! We are ready to go to Jeju ^^
After 55 minutes flight, finally and finally….
Welcome to the biggest island in South Korea, Jeju Island!
The most demanding tourist destination, foreigner or local. For special case, many newlyweds go here for honeymoon.
Here we come!!…
돌하르방!
We took our luggage and now we had to find how to reach our hotel. As we went out from airport building, we were welcomed by rain, and it's cold. ㅠ.ㅠ
Fyi, in Jeju Island, transportation isn't as easy as in Busan/ Seoul. Then, we decided to take a taxi and below was our line to take taxi. Yuhuu~~
line for taking taxi
Now, we felt hungry. Lucky us, we bought some snacks at Busan.
Kimbab!!!!
looks so simple, but it's so delicious!
ah, miss it :(((
I miss this kimbab so much!! You can find this anywhere, any convenience store. Cheap and delicious, around 2.000 - 4.000 KRW.
I can't eat this right now, so let's just see my photo ate this Haha
At last! Arrived at our hotel (Forest Hostel). Suprisingly, we got a great one :) Forest Hostel is a kind of guest house I think. Clean & cheap, kind of my-like thing. Haha
Laid down for a while and we were ready to get some dinner. We just realised, we just had kimbab today. What should we have for dinner? Hm… One of my friend told me that Jeju is famous for their black pork (흑돼지) and she told me that there is a place near this hotel sell a very very delicious black pork. It was still raining outside, but we didn't have any choice so we borrowed umbrella and went there by foot.

you can choose your favourite one.
why was the weather so clear? fyi, i took this on our last day.

I chose this one
Ok, this is my friend's recommendation
it was raining, right?
i love this place, wide glass window :)
packed with people.
busy..busy
eating
and here it comes, our VIP tonight
Black Pig (흑돼지)
this is what i like about Korean BBQ!
always feel like a festive even just for two
Filled up! Before going back to hostel, we bought some medicine as our body wasn't feeling well that time and barley tea (보리차) as our beverages :p
Time to recharge our energy for tomorrow. Good Night!

Day 3-1 : Gamcheon Culture Village & Flying to Jeju Island

Last day at Busan.
Seomyeon area in the morning. Sooo different tho than last night.
Fyi, it's around 10 AM
생~~~~
After had many deliberation we dedicated the last day here to go to Gamcheon Culture Village (감천문화마을), the main reason why I chose to bring my friend here, Busan.
What is Gamcheon Culture Village? Actually, it is residence area. For real! People are living there, but the residence area has an exception. It is full of art, if I can say maybe it is kind of mural village? Colourful village? Okay, I'll just  show you a lot of pictures to explain it ^^

Day 2 : Busan (Oryukdo Skywalk, Yongdusan Park, Jagalchi Market)

We tried to take a bus instead of subway at second day. Before we left our hotel, we attempted to ask the receptionist but he is japanese (broken korean, broken english T.T). Didn't know what to do so we decided to try on our own.

I wish we have this kind of public transportation too.
Clean.
It was such an amazing experience, even it means we need more effort.

Day 1 : Busan (Haeundae, Shinsaege Centum City, Gwangan Bridge)

At my last post I already told you about how I changed my schedule from 12.10 PM to 09.50 AM. Actually, me and my friend wanna stroll around first that's why we chose that schedule but because the oppa(s) really kind and wanna help us to change the schedule so we won't waste time at Incheon Intl' Airport, we just followed them. Haha
After that, I bought T-Money at ticket counter. I don't know if they don't sell t-money there. But the nice ahjussi who is in that counter help me and give his t-money to me. (So kind, right?) He even helped me and my friend to reload our T-Money card.

Our KTX Ticket Pass
We continued to walk and try to find our train, we're not quite sure if the train was true so we asked some people there and it's right! We put our luggage at the luggage area and then we looked for our seats, but again we lost. (I knew we lost many times, even on my next stories we'll lost anytime lol). The girl that helped us before, helped us again but because of language barrier, she just told us to follow her and she pointed our seat. Thank you eonni!
Unfortunately, our seats was so far far away from our luggage, so my friend moved our luggage (2 of them) and I stayed to look after our belongings.
Finally we can sit down with peace. Pfiuhh..
To reach Busan, we have to change train at Seoul Station and the stairs's hell begin here. Our train located at Platform 1 (I'm not sure, I forgot actually haha).
We have to bring our luggage (16Kg each), no escalator!
Picture above isn't mine and it isn't my train platform.
For the first time, I felt like, "Oh my God, I'm really in Seoul now." Because as you know, this Seoul Station frequently appeared on Korean TV Shows, so... Haha
I wanna take picture here but we're afraid that we'll miss the train so we just went inside the train.
I just took picture inside the train.
Better than no picture. ㅋㅋ

After years of waiting.. FINALLY!

As I promised I will try to write about my trip to South Korea as detail as possible and maybe it will help some of you who have a plan to visit this country.
At first, until now I am still thinking that I've been dreaming. I still not quite sure if I really visited that country. You know that feeling if you confused which is the reality or the dream one. But, after I saw my bunch of photos there, I realised that it was real. My trip.
Ok, let's start.
I went to South Korea this April, for exact date is on April 9th 2015. I went there with my friend, just two of us and that friend is a girl too. We decided to go there without tour and we arranged everything, like accommodation (hotel, plane ticket, KTX, some shows, etc), by ourselves. So, we bought the plane ticket last year, at September 2014. Since then, we arranged the next step. Like where will we go or where will we stay at or the routes and so many complicated things. Me and my friends separate our job description. ME.. listing the places and routes, booking guesthouse, hostel, plane ticket and some shows. HER...Making the itinerary (she is an expert on this thing, I can't Haha). We just finished the itinerary at the night before our departure. WOW! Many people said that we're crazy because we never been there, we can't speak korean and just two of us go there. But, my willing to go there is bigger than everything. LOL!
So I feel so thankful to my friend, that she want to accompany me to go to South Korea without tour and it means that we need more effort to arrange everything. When we arranged our itinerary and everything we often argued because of this and that. Yeah, something like that.
Day by day, month by month, I spent my time to wait for that day to come and when it finally comes, I can't believe it. Until now.

April 9th 2015

My day has finally come at the end.

April 29, 2015

So.. HI !

Hello guys!
I am sorry for not keep my promise to update this blog more often at this year. Actually, I am still update my things, thoughts and everything online but not on this blog. If you ever heard about DAYRE - a kind of blog application on your phone. It is so simple and handy, I think. I like to write everything at that moment and I like that app so far. I am more updates there. I will try to balance it anyway, between my dayre and this blog.
There are many things that happened during these 4 months. Oh my God, time flies so fast. It's already at the end of April and May will come soon.
Fyi, I already got a work at Surabaya and yeah I came back here around 3 months ago, late January. I started to join the crowd again. Meeting my friends, hanging out, chatting for hours with them, etc. I love my co-workers, they are so kind but I don't think I fit to this job. After got training for almost 4 months, I decided to not continue this work and will try another field that maybe will fit to me, more. Besides that, I wanna go back to take Korean and English course when I have more flexible time. Already told my Dad about my plan and fortunately, he like it so far :)
The best thing for me at these 4 months is that I finally can realize my dream since 10 years ago, go to South Korea!! Oyeeee!!
In the fall of last year, I already had a plan to go to South Korea with my friend even with tour, I am so okay. BUT, because of some reasons and some events, I decided to not going to South Korea even I felt so sad at that time. One of friend said that I will go to South Korea later maybe without tour like I wanted at the beginning. And yes, God answered my pray this year. Finally, I can go to there without tour and can experience and explore many things that I can't get if I go with tour.
I will give you the complete stories day by day, in detail. At my next post ;)
So, see y'
