After years of waiting.. FINALLY!

As I promised I will try to write about my trip to South Korea as detail as possible and maybe it will help some of you who have a plan to visit this country.

At first, until now I am still thinking that I've been dreaming. I still not quite sure if I really visited that country. You know that feeling if you confused which is the reality or the dream one. But, after I saw my bunch of photos there, I realised that it was real. My trip.

Ok, let's start.

I went to South Korea this April, for exact date is on April 9th 2015. I went there with my friend, just two of us and that friend is a girl too. We decided to go there without tour and we arranged everything, like accommodation (hotel, plane ticket, KTX, some shows, etc), by ourselves. So, we bought the plane ticket last year, at September 2014. Since then, we arranged the next step. Like where will we go or where will we stay at or the routes and so many complicated things. Me and my friends separate our job description. ME.. listing the places and routes, booking guesthouse, hostel, plane ticket and some shows. HER...Making the itinerary (she is an expert on this thing, I can't Haha). We just finished the itinerary at the night before our departure. WOW! Many people said that we're crazy because we never been there, we can't speak korean and just two of us go there. But, my willing to go there is bigger than everything. LOL!

So I feel so thankful to my friend, that she want to accompany me to go to South Korea without tour and it means that we need more effort to arrange everything. When we arranged our itinerary and everything we often argued because of this and that. Yeah, something like that.

Day by day, month by month, I spent my time to wait for that day to come and when it finally comes, I can't believe it. Until now.

April 9th 2015

My day has finally come at the end.

I started to take days off at this day and I will come back to work for next 12 days. Even it just hours way before our departure, there're still many things to do. We still haven't finished our itinerary yet. We will take a flight at 07.30 PM from Surabaya and then we transit at Jakarta around 2 hours. Thankfully, we can finish our itinerary and we already booked for some shows too, besides we already booked our guesthouse and hostels then we already bought plane ticket too (Busan - Jeju ; Jeju - Gimpo) and our KTX ticket (Incheon - Busan). Everything done. Now, we just have to prepare our heart and ready to go!! Yey~

My friend's BF and one of our friend accompanied us to airport and I feel like I will go for studying there because we take photos, hug and everything. Now, you know what I mean right?

We checked-in and we continued our journey to Jakarta. When we arrived at Jakarta, I still haven't believe that I finally can go there. I said to my friend that I won't believe this before I set my foot at South Korea. At 11.15 PM, we ready to take off and a long flight was waiting for us (7 hours). We got seats in the middle, exactly in the middle, in this plane the seats are like 3-4-3. We sat in the middle which is 4 seats and we sat again in the middle of that 4 seats. Ok, now it's getting complicated. Just said that you understand. HAHA.

My friend said that actually she didn't like to sit at our seats right now because when you need to go to toilet it's just not flexible because you in the middle of two strangers. Before our plane take-off, the seat besides her was empty so we thought that there's no person there so we moved BUT unfortunately, the owner came right before the take-off. So, we went back to our original seat and the ahjussi who was sit beside me just can saw us and laughed. Maybe because we were busy like a bees to moved back and forth. We didn't know that the real owner who sat beside my friend will be our first friend on this trip. At first, this oppa looked not so friendly because when my friend asked if he may want to exchange seat with us, he said no in a unfriendly way. My friend knew that I wanna make some Korean friends on this trip so she made attempt to talk with this oppa. It turned out that he is so kind even told us a few places that we didn't know before. He looked onto our itinerary too. After that, we talked about many things beside my trip plan too. We played some games too because we can't sleep and got punishment in korean ways. Then, he told us that we have to sleep so we won't be tired when we landed.

As soon as we landed in South Korea that oppa offered us to speak to his friend (who is Busan people) and ask about things in Busan. He also waited for us until we done with our immigration thing. Fyi, it was so crowded, many tourists and took a lot of time but that oppa still waiting for us. After that, he took us to KTX counter and helped us to change our schedule so we will depart earlier that our original schedule. We talked to his friend about our plan and when we talked about cherry blossom, he said that it's already done. It made me and my friend left speechless, but he told me that we might still can see a little bit of cherry blossoms. It gave us some hopes. Then we took a photo together and went apart because they had to go to their work too. We were so thankful that we can meet kind people like them. Thanks oppa(s)! :)
